A stock is a part ownership in a company. When you buy a share of a stock you are becoming part owner in that company. Stocks trade every week day form 9:30am to 4pm. except for holidays. There is also off hour trading for some stocks.

Previous Close - The price the stock  closed at the day before.

Open- the price The stock opened at the day of trading.

Bid- The price people bid at. 

Ask- The price people ask for.

Days Range - The price the stock was at all day.

52 Week Range- The price the stock was at between all 52 weeks.

Volume- The amount of shares bought or sold in a day.

Average Volume - Average amount of shares bought or sold in a day.

Market Cap- Total amount of shares available to buy. 

Beta - The measure of the volatility of a stock. 

PE Ratio- A ratio to show a companies value. 

EPS- Earnings Per Share. How much money the company earns. 

Earnings Date - the day the company shows its share holders there financial information.

Forward Dividend &Yield- the amount of money a company pays its shareholders for holding 

stock in the company. 

1 year target estimate- The price the stock will be in one year. 

News- Information about a stock.

Press Release- Press releases about important information on the company.

Conversations- What people say about a stock.   

Historical Data- Dividends, stock splits, or capital gains.

Dividends- Amount of money a company pays you for holding their stock.

Stock Splits- When a company adds or takes away there stocks.

9. A map of where the companies headquarters is located.
